Introduction

Protect makes it possible protect schedules for various changes. If any particular Revit schedule is selected for protection, then users where this application is installed cannot edit schedule properties nor make graphical changes, such as edit column width, delete columns, delete rows ect. To enable edit mode, simply unselect schedule using application main user interface. Content and other cell values within the schedules can be modified or edited anytime and anywhere. Protect can be very usefull for you, who want to maintain the overall output of any schedule. Users are warned, if they try to make any changes.

How to protect schedules

1. Open the application, you find it in Otools ribbon, Free Tools panel

2. Main user interface

3. Select schedules you want to protect. Hold Ctrl to select multiple.

4. Click on OK to apply changes

How to unprotect schedules

1. Open application

2. Hold Ctrl and unselect schedules you want to enables edit mode

If schedule is selected to be protected, following warning is shown.
